Mauritius wakes up to a bright and sunny morning, with calm skies across most parts of the island. Thanks to a light southern breeze, today’s weather will be warm but not too hot — unless the wind shifts to the north later, when temperatures could climb up to 34°C in some areas.
Throughout the morning, the island will enjoy plenty of sunshine, but between noon and 2 p.m., scattered clouds may appear, bringing a slight chance of showers over Port Louis and parts of the north and northeast. Rainfall amounts could range between 6 and 22 mm, though most areas will remain dry.
The sea is calm today, with waves measuring:
- North: 1 m
- East and West: 1.5 m
- South: 2 m, gradually subsiding through the afternoon and becoming calmer by tomorrow.
The sea temperature is 27.3°C, perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Low tide: 1:30 a.m. and 2:27 p.m.
High tide: 8:18 a.m. and 8:19 p.m.
Sunrise: 5:21 a.m.
Sunset: 6:35 p.m.

Rodrigues Weather
Yesterday, Rodrigues recorded 1.2 mm of rain in the Patate Théophile area.
Today, the wind blows from the north-northwest at about 10 km/h, making it warmer than usual. Although two cloud lines are developing east and west of the island, they are expected to stay offshore, so sunny and dry weather will dominate throughout the day.
The sea remains moderately calm, with 2.5-meter waves offshore, gradually easing during the day.
