Bright and Calm Weather – Mauritius (Nov 27)

Mauritius will enjoy a sunny and tranquil day today, with mostly clear skies and a gentle breeze. Overnight, a weak cloud line crossed the island from east to west, bringing a few light showers in isolated spots, but conditions have since improved, and the rest of the day will be mostly sunny and stable.

Today’s weather – Sunny, warm, and peaceful

After sunrise, the morning clouds will gradually dissipate, giving way to increasing sunshine throughout the day. Winds will blow from the southeast at around 13 km/h, remaining light and pleasant.

Most of the island will stay sunny and dry, though a few local clouds could form in the Réduit and Moka areas during the afternoon, possibly bringing light rain up to 6 mm. However, the chance of rainfall remains very low.

The sea will stay calm and inviting:

  • West and north coasts: 0.8 m waves
  • East coast: 1.3 m waves
  • South coast: 1.5 m waves beyond the reefs

High tide: 5:15 AM and 4:45 PM
Low tide: 10:47 AM
The sea temperature remains at a pleasant 27°C.

Looking ahead, Saturday afternoon could bring a few scattered showers, while Sunday afternoon may see heavier rainfall—up to 20 mm, especially across northern Mauritius.

Rodrigues weather today

Rodrigues recorded 1.5 mm of rain yesterday at Plaine Corail.
During the night, around 2 AM, another weak cloud band passed over the island, bringing light showers up to 8 mm.
This morning will remain cloudy until around 9 AM, followed by improving, sunny conditions for the rest of the day.
Winds will blow from the northeast at 24 km/h, and the sea will stay moderate, with waves of around 1.5 m offshore.

Weather outlook

The coming days will remain mostly sunny, warm, and summery, with only a few brief showers in some areas. More noticeable rain is possible on Sunday, mainly across the north.
