Many of you have recently written that you are coming with Kids. Well, we have put together a few programs for you so that the whole family can have a good time together in Mauritius. Of course, we also took a look at the attractions, as there are many places where you can go even with toddlers.
Here are the programs with kids in Mauritius
– Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark, here you can see the famous 7-colored earth and the highest continuous waterfall in Mauritius, the Chamarel waterfall. This is also suitable for very young children, there is no big hike. You can even walk in the Ebony Forest with older children, and you can go ziplining or archery in La Villeon Adventure Park. All four attractions are located in the Geopark. (It is on the south side of the island, in the middle of the valley.) You can book tickets here.

– Walk at the Grand Bassin. This can be enjoyed by both young and old. There are statues and altars of Hindu gods around the sacred lake, lots of fish in the lake, and macaques around the lake, which can keep the little ones busy. By the way, you can also ask for blessings. 🙂 (It is on the south side of the island, in the middle basin.)

– Gorges Viepoint is a wonderful viewpoint over a valley in the Black River Gorges National Park. It would be a shame to miss it, everyone would definitely like it, especially since the monkeys are bustling here too. However, it is important not to feed them and not to get too close. The macaques are quite funny even when watched from a few meters. (It is on the south side of the island, in the middle basin.)

– Turtle watch with a glass-bottom boat, if you are not afraid to let them into the water with a life jacket, even children can swim with them. (Northwest side, Trou aux Biches) More speedboat tours.

– The Nessee Semi-Submarine, with which you can see the coral reefs. (North, Grand Bay)
– Submarine tour, where you can dive to a depth of 35 meters and see the coral reefs. (Northwest side, Trou aux Biches)
– If you want to shop a little, eat a meal, there is a playground in La Croisette, and in the middle of the plaza, the little ones can race around on electric cars. There are playgrounds in several malls.
(La Croisette is in Grand Bay.)

– Splash ‘N Fun Leisure park in Quatre Cocos, where water slides await both young and old. (East)
– 23-colored land, or La Vallée des Couleurs. You can go hiking here, there is also a large playground where giant tortoises and Javan deer are free, and there is a zipline where you can slide down in tandem with your child. (Located in the south) You can book tickets here.

– La Vanille Nature Park, where you can feed giant turtles and pet baby crocodiles. (South) Book your ticket here.

– Odysseo oceanarium, where you can walk and see the ocean life, even sharks. Ideal program in rainy weather. (Port Louis, west side in the middle) Book your ticket here.

– If it rains, then Doodland in Bagatelle Mall (playhouse, west side) or Tribeca Mall (west side) has a trampoline, climbing walls and a go-kart track for the older ones.
– Île aux Cerfs boat trip. Here you don’t leave the reef, so the boat won’t rock. A good, enjoyable, relaxing day even with the little ones. (Starts from the east side, Trou d’Eau Douce) You can book in advance here.

– Botanical Garden. Walking program, where you can even go with a stroller. With toddlers, be careful not to go into the bushes, because there are not only endemic plants, but also animals here, including the golden orb-weaving spider, which is not poisonous, but its bite is painful. (North, northwest, Pamplemousses)

– Casela Nature Park, here you can feed animals, even giraffes, or baby goats from a bottle. You can sit on a bean, and there is a small amusement park section. (West side, Flic en Flac) You can book tickets here.

– La Praire beach, parents can take turns snorkeling, and the water is so shallow that even the smallest ones don’t have to be afraid. If you bring bread, even they can feed the fish. (South)

And of course, lots of beach time (Anywhere, anytime keeps kids busy). The beaches on the western and northern sides of Mauritius are the calmest and have the smallest waves, so we highly recommend them if you are coming with little ones.
We hope you will like the programs with kids, but if we miss anything, just send it to us 🙂
